03 Feb MKA Bangladesh arranged Masroor Badminton Tournament 2020-21

Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya, Bangladesh arranged & organized first ever Badminton tournament named as “Masroor Badminton Tournament” with a great enthusiasm across the country, Alhamdulillah. 70 local Majalis attended this tournament across the country. Initial selection of the players were done in three phases; local phase (21 st Nov 2020 – 4 Dec 2020), District phase (5 Dec – 11 Dec 2020) and Regional phase (12 Dec – 30 Dec). On 31 st Dec 2020 at Dhaka Darut Tabligh mosque complex, final phase of this tournament was inaugurated by Mohtaram Sadr sahib, Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Bangladesh Mohammad Zahed Ali sahib. Among others convenor of “Masroor Badminton Tournament” Mohtaram Fahim Miazi, Naib Sadr-2 and Secretary Mohtaram Omayer Ahmed, Mohtamim Sehet e jismany were
present. Final phase, from 5 Regions of the country (Dhaka, Chattogram, Mymensing, Khulna, Rangpur) best selected 12 players participated. Some of the games including the final one was LIVE on Facebook & YouTube.

02 Jan 2021 after Fazr prayer, final game and prize giving ceremony started. On double game, champion was Dhaka Regions G. M. Abujar Rahman & Tazveer Sardar. Double game runners up were from Chattogram Regions Mabroor Ahmed Chowdhury & Mohammad Forhad Badsha. On single game champion was Mabroor Ahmed Chowdhury from Chattogram Region and runners up was G. M. Abujar Rahman from Dhaka Region. On prize giving ceremony, Mohtaram Alhajj Mawlana Abdul Awwal Khan Chowdhury National Amir sahib of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Bangladesh was present along with Sadr & Naib Sadr sahib. After giving the prizes Mohtaram National Amir sahib concluded the program with silent prayers.
